But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19New!  I remember hearing the words spoken with satisfaction and wonder — It’s brand new!  It is the ‘king of the mountain’ kind of feeling when we have something brand new!  But then that new thing becomes scarred, dented and decrepit.  It loses its shine and we no longer enjoy the brand new and look for something to take its place.God said, “For I am about to do something NEW!”  And it begins with a pathway through the wilderness and living water.  Now we read in the scriptures about a new life, a new birth, a new song, a new covenant, a new way and such a contentment it is to live a new life in Christ and each morning sing a new song.  All this comes about through the blood of Jesus Christ, the only Son of God.“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:19-2
