July 30, 2020 – Jude 1:20-21
But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. Jude 1:20-21.
Oh, how He loves us, How He loves us all. He loves like a hurricane, and I am a tree! Those lyrics from John McMillian cannot begin to express the power of His love. We are swept into His Love, and as we pray and our faith grows, we know His Great Love. Our Lord promises eternal life when time is no more.
He is our Song and the reason we sing. His mercy is for every one. There is no ‘me and them‘, we are all One in Him. On the cross, our Lord Jesus conquered death, for He rose from the dead, even as we rise again. Jesus gives us His Grace, because He loves. He will present us without sin to our One and Only God.
Our Gracious Lord God, keep me from stumbling and falling short of the glory of our Savior. Help me to love others as Jesus loves me. Jesus said, Whoever comes to me, I will never cast out. John 6:37. Bring me into Your Presence in Your time. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 1:24-25.
