July 27, 2015 – Psalm 37:7

Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:7Be Still?  Such a novel idea.  And how will we be the me that I am if someone doesn’t hear me?  In the Presence, In His Presence, how can we anticipate the awe, the wonder and the mystery of Who God is.  He is bigger than life itself, He is Life itself.  He holds our lives in the palm of His hand.  The Lord, the Mighty One, is God, and he has spoken; he has summoned all humanity from where the sun rises to where it sets. Psalm 50:1In this age of war and corruption, Be Still and know that I am God!  Surely the God who created the vast universe isn’t capable of stopping war, is He?  The One Who loves and desires peace among His people.  Trusting – Believing – Praying is the key to God’s Peace.  Anger and Fear have no place in heart of God’s People.God sent Jesus to the earth to save man.  No earthly being is the equal to Jesus Christ, who died and was raised by Almighty God, and sits at his right hand.  He has the power to cause wars to end and destroy the weapons and He changes the hearts of man who choose Him.  If we look for who to blame for the world’s troubles, then it is time to look at the me, you see in your mirror.God will be honored by every nation and throughout the world, for He alone is King.  Be Still.  Be still and learn of God, listen to His Word.  Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don’t listen because you don’t belong to God.” John 8:47He causes wars to end throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and snaps the spear; he burns the shields with fire. “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” Psalm 46:9-10
