July 26, 2019 – Psalm 75:1-3
We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds. “At the set time that I appoint, I will judge with equity. When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars.” Psalm 75:1-3.
Blessed be the Lord! For He has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him. Psalm 28:6-7. Without the Lord God, I am nothing. Only in Him do I find strength to continue to praise Him with all my heart.
He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. Psalm 25:9-10.
Even when the earth shakes about me, and buildings crumble and fall, I know the Lord steadies the earth He created. He steadies my heart through times that shake my faith in Him. God sent His Son, Jesus to bring me hope and assurance.
We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:19-20.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His steadfast love endures forever; to Him who alone does great wonders, for His steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 136:3-4.
Sing to God, sing praises to His name; lift up a song to Him who rides through the deserts;
His name is the Lord. Psalm 68:4
But I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. Psalm 75:9.
