I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called — his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. Ephesians 1:18I love to see the innocence of a child watching all around at the wondrous sights and smells all around her as she discovers the surprises of God’s Creation.  So free and unencumbered with burdens of living.  And when you look into her eyes, you see no secrets she is hiding.  Just the joy of being.Life weighs us down until we come to the realization of how much God loves us.  If we reach out to God, He will wrap His arms around us and we will know His strength.  If we choose Him, we become His portion and He is our portion.  The fullness of his love is felt in every aspect of life.  The joy of Jesus is beyond what we can ever find in being a spectator of life and its offerings.  He has work for us to do!  He has a pathway to traverse and His path leads to the promise of Everlasting Life with our Lord and our Master in the Heavenly Home He has prepared for us.Tired?  Rest in Him.  Discouraged?  Draw courage in Him. Bored?  Live an eternal adventure that never ends.  Never look for happiness, look for His Joy.  Make a mistake?  Wash it clean through His blood that gives us forgiveness.Oh, joy that will not let me go….I hide myself in Thee.  I give Thee back the life I owe, That in thine ocean depths  its flow May richer, fuller be.…(George Matheson)
