July 20, 2021 – Philippians 2:9-11
Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11.
God placed eternity in our souls so that we have a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” John 6:35.
Jesus taught, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” Matthew 5:6. Where does this hunger come from? Why are we thirsty for righteousness?
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11.
O, Lord our God, I pray that the Light of the World shine brightly from my heart that others see Your Goodness. Forgive me when I faith falters. I praise You, In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2.
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey His commandments. I John 5:1-2.
Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life. Philippians 2:14-16a.
