July 15, 2021 – Psalm 27:4-5
One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple. For He will hide me in His shelter in the day of trouble; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will lift me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:4-5.
The verses that tell about our purpose on earth is here: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. Ephesians 1:3-4.
He chose us before He created the universe. He gave us a purpose in this world, to be holy. He asks us to ‘Seek His Face.’ The question each day of our lives is do we seek His face and choose Him?
Dear Lord, You have searched my heart and know my inner most thoughts. Help me to choose you in every day of my life. Help me to be still and KNOW You are my God. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
How can I be sure of His Love? This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him. Ephesians 3:11-12.
And we will sing, “It is well, it is well, with my soul…”
Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; be gracious to me and answer me! You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.” Psalm 27:7-8.
