July 12, 2021 – Psalm 16:5-7
The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; You hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. Psalm 16:5-7.
Even as He chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. Ephesians 1:4.
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Colossians 3:12-13.
O, Lord, help me to choose holiness above all. Make my heart humble and give love to those about me. Help me to seek your joy and love others in Your Name all the days of my life. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33.
Making a choice to seek His righteousness begins a lifelong adventure of being kind to all those around us and looking on the heart and seeing each one you encounter as Child of God. “For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” I Samuel 16:7.
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11.
I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. Psalm 16:8-9.
