July 12, 2019 – Psalm 16:7-9

I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. Psalm 16:7-9.

When we love our Lord God, and accept His Son Jesus as our Savior, we are assured of His Presence giving us assurance. 

We spend a lifetime desiring peace and assurance of who we are.  We cannot find it from man, but only in our Lord God.  This Psalm tells us where to find lasting guidance that never fails.  Our Lord’s Presence is continual.  He is right beside you and me.  There is no end to the Joy of the Wonder  of His Presence.  Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His Presence continually! Remember the wondrous works He has done, his miracles and the judgements He uttered.  Psalm 105:4.5.

Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes!  With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth.  In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.  Psalm 119:12-15.

What is the Way of Life? Where can we find the way to Joy of the Presence of God? Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.  John 4:6.

One of the first promises I read as a young teen is: “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  A Hillsong song brings this truth,” I am who You say I am, A Child of the King.”

You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of  Your Presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. Psalm 16:11.
