January 7, 2021 – Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7.

When there is nothing to celebrate in this world around us, God’s precious Presence and steadfast Love still gives us His Hope in Grace.  Anxiousness disappears when we delight and bring our prayers to Him. His Peace guards our hearts and minds in Jesus.

What then shall we think in our minds?  Whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable.  Practice this kind of thinking.  We exercise our physical bodies, and our spirit we can also exercise our minds with faith in Christ-like thinking for the hard times.

Dear Father in Heaven, Fill my heart and mind with love for one another with overflowing goodness and patience. Our joy comes from His Heart of Love and Forgiveness.  In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:2-3.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9.
