January 6, 2016 – James 1:17

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. James 1:17The perfect gift from God greets us each day…Love.  Love comes down from Heaven in many forms.  Love and Light with no shadows or darkness.  For where God is, there is only comfort and joy and strength in its purity…The greatest gift from God is sending His One and Only Son to be…a sacrifice for the sins of the past and present and future.  For Eternity spans all of our times and beyond.How can we recognize the perfect gifts? When we imitate God with our lives.  When we let God control our lives it is easier to follow Christ and live a life of love.  This creates God’s light within us, and shines forth. Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. Ephesians 5:1-2
