The Lord, the Mighty One, is God, and he has spoken; he has summoned all humanity from where the sun rises to where it sets. From Mount Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines in glorious radiance.  Our God approaches, and he is not silent. Fire devours everything in his way, and a great storm rages around him. Psalm 50:1-3How often we gaze at the sun’s rise and its setting, without seeing the extraordinary ethereal beauty it gives us.  A dim reflection of God’s glory and majesty.  God never does things just halfway.  He is ALL IN!  He is ALL IN for righteousness that is beauty in living and against evil that colors the world in dark scary tones of sadness.  Evil creates the storms of wrath.  God shines in glorious radiance and draws me to Him.Beauty comes from inner beauty – God-like beauty.  A gentle and quiet spirit speaks of peace and patience and an joy.  It is the authentic spirit of love that shines through our words, our actions and our thoughts that is communicated in beauty.When I pass a display of jewels I am no longer enticed by their glitter, for I know this is not for me.  God’s beauty is real and His unfading beauty is more than enough for me.  His beauty is his love that brings me to my knees in thanksgiving.  When we know in our hearts who created us for His purposes, then we know the truth of all life.  When we accept this knowledge in the very marrow of our being, we are filled with His Joy and Peace and Hope.  It is then we know the essence of beauty — Jesus!Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. I Peter 3:3-4
