January 26, 2021 – Isaiah 55:8-9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9.

Looking up into the endless sky and watching the stars God created  fills us with awe. He determines the number of the stars; He gives to all of them their names. Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; His understanding is beyond measure. Psalm 147:4-5. 

God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, and His Ways differ from ours. God Created us and when we choose Jesus as our Savior, we are adopted into His Kingdom.  It is our privilege to call God, Our Father, which art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.

The hills are alive with the sound of music? Have you ever wondered where these lyrics come from?  We climbed the small hills in Oklahoma, as children and didn’t understand majestic mountains would draw us into a songs of praise for our Lord God.  Listen to shade trees in the summer clap their hands in praise of being alive.

Our Father which art in Heaven, open my eyes and let me see the wonder around us. May we go out in joy and live in peace!  I pray in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
