January 20, 2021 – John 14:6-7

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” John 14:6-7.

It is through Jesus that we know our Father God. Jesus IS the way, the truth and the life.  To deny Christ Jesus is to deny God.  It is NOT our way, but His Way.  

When we know Jesus, we do know God.  When we thirst after His Word and choose to leave the world behind and its darkness.  

This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. I John 1:5, 7.  

O, Lord, our God, help me to obey your commandments in all things, and follow Your Son Jesus. For in delighting in Him, we know we are one with You. Cleanse our hearts, forgive us when we stray from your teaching.  I pray in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. I John 2:29.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14.
