He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8Kindness is a sweet word. I think of lace and sugar cookies…when I think of kindness I think lace, lots of hugs and bright smiles. Kindness takes on many forms.Kindness is someone telling you about a fixable flaw in your appearance. Kindness is someone who teaches you the right way of behaving. Kindness is a jar filled with ‘please’, ‘thank you’, ‘excuse me’ and ‘pardon me’. Kindness is dressed in humility. Kindness is ‘ready forgiveness’.In Micah 6:8, kindness is grouped among justice, love and humility WITH your God. Kindness spill over. The Lord told Zechariah to render true judgements, show kindness and mercy to one another, give mercy to one another. Let none of you devise evil against another IN YOUR HEART!May the Lord guide my thoughts, my will, my actions and words with kindness today! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. And the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart.
