God Is All Around Us!

How true!  God is all around us. No
matter how many times misguided souls deny the existence of God or use the law
to erase us.  God continues to BE GOD in all parts of His Creation.
Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or
where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend
to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, You are there! If
I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the
sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and
Your right hand shall hold me.  If I say, “Surely
the darkness shall cover me and the light about me be night,” even
the darkness is not dark to You; the night is bright as the day, for
darkness is as light with You.
Psalm 139:7-12.
Our God IS. I watched a hummingbird
hovering around a flower, and I am fascinated.  Our Father God created
this delicate miracle of engineering. This tiny creature has life and created
by our Lord.
When
I look to see the artistry of our land with shades of color, an artist
cannot find on his palate and shapes of rocks we cannot create.
Flowers, grains, and trees exhibiting the complexity of design, shape and
color. From the Sunflower to the Dandelion, saying Yellow Joy in Capital
letters.

Then I take a sip of water. I remember the promise of ‘living water’ and how it
sustains life in a thirsty world. Whoever believes in me, as the
Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living
water.’
John 7:38.

The seasons come and go with storms that our weather prognosticators cannot
predict accurately. Storms are created by our God, and we are in awe,
remembering all things are created by God.

The firmament above us, some have called God’s Bulletin Board, are different
every moment with delightful colors.

Each miracle Jesus performed, show us from the stilling the winds and the
waves, to helping the blind regain their eyesight, and water into wine shows us
His power. Not only did God create our world, but He also uses the creation to
teach us His Way and Who He is.

Have you ever considered how many times the question asked, “What time is
it?”  This simple question reveals God IS. The beginning is in Genesis
1:14-16. And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to
separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and
for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in
the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.  And
God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the
lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. And God set them in the
expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the
day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God
saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the
fourth day.
Have
you ever wondered how many stars in the night sky? Did you give up after
reaching 100? No wonder. Psalm 147:4-5 tells us Who knows!  He determines
the number of the stars; He gives to all of them their names.

Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; His
understanding is beyond measure.

God
can move a mountain, shake the earth, create the power of the waves. I will
never forget when I felt His Power as I stood ankle-deep in the ocean. At that
moment I connected with the majesty and greatness of God.

God presented Jesus to the world, by sending a great star in the Heavens to
show the way and a chorus of angels to the Shepherds in the field. This tiny
babe, whose birth we celebrate each year, came to teach us of the Greatness of
God. They crucified Jesus as the sacrifice for our sins and then God
raised Him on the third day. He appeared to five hundred people.  Jesus
is alive
!

Each time a baby is born, we know God’s presence has been with the baby before being
born. Psalm 139:14-16. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully
made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not
hidden from You, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven
in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in
Your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for
me, when as yet there was none of them.

How
our Lord God weeps when His work with each baby is interrupted.  He places
eternity in each heart, to draw the little one to live with Him. He
has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into
man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from
the beginning to the end.
Ecclesiastes 3:11.

In every moment of creation, God shows us one important living thing to us. His
Love.  He asks us not to seek control, but to trust Him in all
things.   He is the Author of Love, Truth, and Kindness.  When
we live and speak His language of Love in our lives, we are His Children.

When did He begin His plan for us, and how did it come to be?
Ephesians 1:3-12 tells us what He does for us.
            Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in
Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose
us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy
and blameless before Him. In love, He predestined us for adoption
to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His
will,
 to the praise of
his glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved.
In Him, we have redemption through his
blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of
his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight
making known to us the mystery of His
will, according to His purpose, which He set forth in Christ
as a plan for the fullness of time, to
unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth.

In Him, we have obtained an
inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him
who works all things according to the counsel of His will.
