February 5, 2021 – Psalm 138:1-3

I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; before the gods, I sing your praise; I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for You have exalted above all things Your Name and Your word. On the day I called, you answered me; my strength of soul you increased. Psalm 138:1-3.

My whole heart praises Your Name, I exalt You with thanksgiving for your steadfast love enduring forever.

You respond to me when I call and increase the strength of my trust and faith in you.  Whenever I walk into trouble, You hold out Your right hand to protect me.

I know that the Eternal will finish what He has began in me. He is faithful. I marvel and glory in  His Goodness and Salvation.

Dear Lord God, hold me fast in my faith in You.  I believe in You.  Strengthen my soul and let it not stray from Your purpose for me.  Your faithful love lasts forever.  I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guide me, O my great Redeemer, pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but You are mighty; hold me with Your powerful hand.
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven, feed me now and evermore.  (Williams, 1717).

Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! Psalm 139:23-24.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. Psalm 138:7-8.
