February 3, 2021 – Psalm 77:11-13
I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? Psalm 77:11-13.
Our God watches over us! He provides for His people. I meditate often on these verses: And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Exodus 14:12-14.
Even as we are enslaved by sin and darkness, when we trust God, we are delivered. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
How do find thankfulness in this world of distraction and interruption? Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. Proverbs 3.5-7.
O, Lord, my God, I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words. Wondrously show your steadfast love, O Savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand. (Psalm 17:6-7). I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His steadfast love endures forever; to Him who alone does great wonders, for His steadfast love endures forever; to Him who by understanding made the heavens, for His steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 136:3-5.
You are the God who works wonders; You have made known your might among the peoples. Psalm 77:14.
