February 19, 2020 – Zephaniah 3:17

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing. Zephaniah 3:17.

What a beautiful heart-picture of the love of our Father God.  He saves, He cares, He sings over us. He provides what we need when we need it.  

 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Jeremiah 29:11.  He plan for our lives.  

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,  even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will.  Ephesians 1:3-5.

Even as He brought us into the world, He sent Jesus to be our Shepherd to teach us to be holy.  How often we remember, The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want!  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:1, 6. 

The Presence of Jesus is so sweet.

Behold, at that time I will deal with all your oppressors. And I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will change their shame into praise and renown in all the earth. At that time I will bring you in, at the time when I gather you together; for I will make you renowned and praised among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your eyes,” says the Lord. Zephaniah 3:19-20.
