February 19, 2016 – Psalm 119:103-104

Psalm119-103-104How sweet your words taste to me; they are sweeter than honey. Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life. Psalm 119:103-104Favorite passages of scripture for me include, “Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me…(John 14:1-4). Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you….John 14:27.  For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope… Jeremiah 29:11.  The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want….Psalm 23.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life…John 3:16.  I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come.   My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.  Psalm 121:1-2.Great is Your Faithfulness…every sunrise is a new beginning…in Jesus, for in Him only do we have forgiveness.  He washes my soul clean through his sacrifice on the cross.  He gives us our deepest need and longing – Love.So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.  I Corinthians 13:13…. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. John 15:4Abide – to remain, to stay, continue…and dwell, live with… no matter what, our home is with the Author of Love and His home is within us.   Each moment, each day, His Words give me hope and I believe more and more as I glory in His Love.  There is no other Who gives freedom and rest. Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest... Matthew 11:28. For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery…Galatians 5:1I cling to your laws. Lord, don’t let me be put to shame! I will pursue your commands, for you expand my understanding. Psalm 119:31-3
