February 15, 2021 – Exodus 3:4-6

When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” And He said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God. Exodus 3:4-6.

God created the heavens and earth, and man and woman. God created all forms of light. There is no end to the ways God can gain our attention to listen to Him with all He created.  He calls our attention to hear His Voice through Earthquakes, storms, and other things we call misfortunes.  Each one comes to teach us something.  Do we turn our attention to His Voice?  Or ignore His summons or turn to Him, like Moses did?

Our Father in Heaven, The Great I am, may I ever heed the  Sound of the call of  Great I Am.   For indeed, You are Holy, and I am yours forever.  In the name of Jesus, I pray! Amen.

O kingdoms of the earth, sing to God; sing praises to the Lord, Selah to Him who rides in the heavens, the ancient heavens; behold, He sends out His voice, His mighty voice.  Ascribe power to God, whose majesty is over Israel, and whose power is in the skies. Psalm 68:32-34.

Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”  God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:13-14.
