February 1, 2016 – Psalm 56:3-4
But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? Psalm 56:3-4That creeping doubt in life, from where does it come? When all confidence in even knowing who we are, where does one turn? Who do we call on when the stress seems more than we can bear? When all we long for is to belong, to be loved and to be wanted.Enough hope, enough money, enough love and feeling of security and safety. Our tears from sorrow are collected in God’s Bottle of Tears. You have recorded each falling tear in your book. You sent Jesus to make a way for us to live with Him when we choose to trust Him, with unwavering faith. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. John 14:2-3This is the God who created us, the God who cares for us, and leads and guides us each moment of the day and night… How do we know? The God of Love and Forgiveness through Jesus Christ is written in His pages. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. I Peter 5:6-7You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help. This I know: God is on my side! Psalm 56:8-9
