December 51, 2020 – Isaiah 33:2, 5-6
O Lord, be gracious to us; we wait for You. Be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble. The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high; He will fill Zion with justice and righteousness, and He will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure. Psalm 33:2,5-6.
How blessed our Lord is to love us and bring us salvation. The Fear of the Lord is our treasure. When our way seems difficult and we falter, we remember the verse, For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21.
O, Lord God, help me to hunger and thirst for righteousness. Help my ears from hearing of bloodshed and my eyes from looking on evil. Keep me from wicked ways and discern your path of salvation. In Jesus’ Name, I pray.
Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. Psalm 24:3-4.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want, He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my should. H leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3.
Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens! Psalm 150:1.
He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure. Isaiah 33:15-16.
