December 5, 2017 – Isaiah 52:7-8

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! The watchmen shout and sing with joy, for before their very eyes they see the Lord returning to Jerusalem. Isaiah 52:7-8

Who tells you about Jesus? Is this good news for you?  Where do you see God? No matter how many wrong choices we have made in life, Our Lord God awaits us.  It doesn’t matter what size or shape our feet are, when they lead us in telling the Good News to others, they are beautiful.

The Good News is of peace and salvation. Acts 4:12-13 – Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus

Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” Psalm 46:10.  Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him. Psalm 105:4.  Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33.

Jesus tells us in John 14:27, the beginning of peace in our hearts. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Redemption through Jesus is for all peoples, and delivers each of us from the weight of sin, the chains dragging us into deep crevices of darkness.

Let the ruins of Jerusalem break into joyful song, for the Lord has comforted his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem. Isaiah 52:9.
