December 30, 2015 – Hebrews 10: 15-16

And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. For he says, “This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” There is no eraser powerful enough to erase what God has written on our hearts.  God  planted eternity in every human heart.  We rush around and busy ourselves with things of the world, yet we find ourselves searching for that which will satisfy us.We accept the world’s promise to reach our potential, and wonder why we continue to feel unfulfilled.  So many ‘how-to’ books have been written with enumerated steps to improve, be handsome or beautiful, yet we fail miserably to reach a nebulous self-standard.Only God has made everything beautiful for its own time.  Only God spans the entirety of time, only God has the ultimate plan from beginning to end.  Only God can see the whole scope of His plan.Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.  Ecclesiastes 3:11“From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”  Isaiah 43:13.  The Lord God, who created the many wonders of the world in unexplained complexity, can plant eternity in each human heart and make us whole.Only when we give our lives and our hearts to Jesus, God’s One and Only Son, will we find the joy of forgiveness for our sins.  Our past disobedience to God is put out of sight and we have true purpose in life.  Our purpose is to live and serve our Lord God!Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin. Romans 4:7-8
