December 25, 2019 – Psalm 25:3-7

Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you, I wait all the day long. Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! Psalm 25:3-7.

An early Christmas Morning! And God gives me a beautiful dawning of the day.  A breath-taking horizon of brilliant deep red hue.  As I contemplate celebrating with family, I read this scripture — Lead me, Guide me, Teach me! And I treasure this quiet moment with Jesus.

I remember moments from the past. Moments when I praised God and when I sinned. Then I read these words, and praise God again. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His steadfast love toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. Psalm 103:11-13.

This unfathomable Love, I celebrate, and give thanks for the birth and sacrifice of Jesus on the earth. But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread Your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in You.  Psalm 5:11.  Rejoice in Jesus! Merry Christmas!

Good and upright is the Lord; therefore, He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right and teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. Psalm 25:8-10.
