December 25, 2015 – Ephesians 1:18

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. Ephesians 1:18The night that Light came into the world.  The night that Shalom – True Peace – was born.  The night that Hope flamed anew in the hearts of men who are His holy people, those who choose to crown Jesus as King of their hearts.We celebrate the birth of Jesus on earth, He came as a Babe in a lowly stable.  But there is more to the story.  When Jesus returns, He will come as the King and every knee shall bend and everyone will know Truth.  We await His Second Coming when He will take those who put on their new nature, to be created liked God.How can this be?  The wonders and glories of God never cease.  We open our eyes and see His Workings throughout the world.  Though the world tries the impossible, to erase God, they will not succeed.  For Christ is the Lord.When Jesus came, Angels appeared, shepherds were drawn to the manger, Wise Men searched for the Babe and traveled far to give Him gifts.  The star showed the way.We often celebrate the first coming of Jesus, but forget the ultimate Joy of the Heavens and Earth when Jesus comes in the twinkling of an eye.  We celebrate Christmas with lights twinkling on a tree, but when Jesus comes again the whole earth will be aflame with a Light that is inextinguishable.“Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” Luke 2:14Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.
