There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And His delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. Isaiah 11:1-3a.
Oh, the Joy that comes from God’s Hand. Delight describes the ultimate Joy that comes from trusting our Lord God completely. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:3-4.
How good it is to enjoy God’s Peace that comes from His Righteousness. Imagine a time when a wolf will not attack a lamb and when a leopard with not eat a young goat, but lie down together. And a little child shall lead them.
Dear Father in Heaven, teach me to trust in You completely and come to You as a little child. Hold my hand and lead me in the paths of Righteousness. I pray I love you with a perfect Love. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because He first loved us. I John 4:18-19.
When Jesus came to this earth, He taught us to love perfectly. Our delight is in the fear of the Lord.
Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins. The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them. Isaiah 11:5-6.
