December 18, 2017 – Psalm 34:6-7
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Psalm 34:6-7.
Discouraged? Sad? Feel like life is too hard to be lived? Where do you turn when you feel this kind of pain? Yes, we all feel this. How we respond is the answer of relief or continuing hopelessness.
Cry out to the Lord! Praying, calling out to the Lord, and depending upon Lord Jesus for relief is THE answer. No one loves us more than Jesus – a faithful, enduring love heaped with forgiveness. His Love comes when we realize the depth and breadth of His Love. When we surrender to the Lord God who sent His Son, we are delivered from the fear of punishment. Some one, Jesus Christ, paid the price on the cross for each of us.
Christmas time, we celebrate with joy of the birth of the Lord Jesus. He is coming again! The anticipation of the Second Coming of Jesus is a reality of great joy. For it is written,“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. Romans 14:11-12.
What escalates His joy in our lives? What will make life worth living, even with heartaches? Blessed is the man and woman who TRUSTS in Him in all things! Sitting by a five-course feast without tasting, we will never know how Good, Blessed, and Loving our Lord is! This Christmas celebrate the birth of Jesus, Who is coming again to bring us HOME!
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Psalm 34:8.
