December 15, 2016 – Revelation 5:11-12

Then I looked, and I heard the sound of many angels surrounding the throne, the living creatures, and the elders. They numbered in the millions—thousands upon thousands. They said in a loud voice “Worthy is the slaughtered Lamb to receive power, wealth, wisdom, and might, and honor, glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:11-12Can you imagine the sound of millions of angels?  This would be more than we see at a football game on television.  The angels aren’t playing a game.  They are honoring Jesus, the slaughtered Lamb, not with gifts but words of joy and greatness.What do we wish for on earth?  Power, wealth and wisdom.  In other words, control, money, and being smart and strong.  Why would we want all this?  For ourselves.  Why does God give all this  to  Jesus?  Because He loves us and when we love Him, He shares Who He is with us.This is what John saw and recorded — it wasn’t just the angels and elders — but every living creature on, under the earth, in the sea proclaim Blessing, Honor, Glory and Power to Jesus forever and always.  All creatures as well as all men will bow before our Lord.Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

This is the word of God and WILL be.  Great are you, Lord! Let all that I am praise the Lord. O Lord my God, how great you are! You are robed with honor and majesty. Psalm 104:1
