There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build…Ecclesiastes 3:1-3What time is it in your life? There are other times that King Solomon, in his wisdom, did not include. Time to make a decision, a time to refrain from making a decision. A time to act and a time to wait on God. A time to purchase new and a time to made do. A time to pray and a time to be the answer to another’s prayer. A time to give thanks — 24/7. A time to rejoice — 24/7.It is no wonder that King Solomon sees the burden God has laid upon us. In the very next sentence, he says, He has made everything beautiful in its time! This is when we count it as joy…Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (James 1:2-4)Any God who can make beautiful things out of dust is worth worshipping. I love the lyrics to this song. You make beautiful things. You make beautiful things out of the dust. You make beautiful things. You make beautiful things out of us. (Gungor) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Cp6F2orRYo We will never know or understand what God has done from the beginning. King Solomon does know that we are to do good while we live, and in doing so, we will find joy in Jesus. What time is it? Time to do good in the name of Jesus. He is the only one who can bring us peace and joy. Praise the Lord!!!!I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. Ecclesiastes 3:10-12
