August 6, 2020 – Psalm 119:97-99
Oh, how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. Psalm 119:97-99.
Each day I greet the new day bowing my head in humility and gratefulness as I learn of your great love, compassion, and wisdom. The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever. Psalm 119:160.
Then you sent Jesus, your Son, to be the sacrifice for my sins on the cross. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6.
I feast on your Word, it is sweeter than honey to me because of your love and how it brings me joy and peace. I celebrate and rejoice in You, Oh, Lord.
Blessed Father in Heaven, Turn my heart ever to You and help me to remember You with the sunrise and the sunset. Help me see your love in every flower and fruit you have created for my pleasure. Teach me to love others as Jesus loves me. I pray in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great! You are clothed with splendor and majesty, covering yourself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent. He lays the beams of His chambers on the waters; He makes the clouds his chariot; He rides on the wings of the wind. Psalm 104:1-3
I do not turn aside from your rules, for you have taught me. How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Psalm 119:102-104.
