August 29, 2019 – I Corinthians 2:9-10

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. I Corinthians 2: 9-10.

Can you imagine what God has prepared for us, simply because we love Him? People through the ages have been in awe at the wonder of God’s Creation all around us. The color, the delicateness of tiny creatures, the immensity of the mountains, and the enormity of the universe and more, create wonder.

One day I wondered why God chose blue for the sky, and green for the grass we walk on. I tried to imagine it being reversed. If our Father God sent Jesus to teach us and His love transforms our hearts and our thinking, what will await us in Heaven?  The Why of God reveals His Way and Plan for us.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LordFor as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.  Isaiah 55:8-9.

Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, we receive the Holy Spirit  from God.  From His Spirit, we understand what God freely gives us. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.  John 15:13.

For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.  I Corinthians 2:11-12.
