August 28, 2015 – Philippians 1:27

Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. Philippians 1:27We are Citizens of Heaven in Jesus Christ.  And we are to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News of Love and Forgiveness.  We are to Stand Together in One Spirit and One Purpose — of Jesus Christ.We are dual citizens of our physical country and our spiritual country.  The ‘fruit of the spirit’ – Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self-Control is against no earthly laws… (Against such, there is no Law!  Galatians 5:22-23)How can this be when we see the lack of trust and truth on every hand?  This is when our faithfulness is a valued way of remaining in Christ Jesus.  The patient endurance can only come from Jesus.It is an awesome fact that our hearts, in Jesus and his leading, brings us to understand and express the love of God to everyone we meet in our lives.May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ. 2 Thessalonians 3:5
