Jeremiah15-16When I discovered your words, I devoured them.
They are my joy and my heart’s delight,
for I bear your name, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies. Jeremiah 15:16Today I marvel anew at the thoughts and truths found in God’s Word.  The inspired Word brings hope and causes rejoicing among those who love Him. Those who have not found Him and delight in His Word shall ultimately bow before Him.I love the scripture in John 1 that says, In the beginning was the Word, Jesus.  I love the fact that God’s power is so great that He spoke the world into being, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.  In His Word and all around me, I see evidences of His love and His power.  I delight in the changes that God the Father makes in our hearts through Jesus Christ, His Only Son.  He grows our faith and our trust.  He gives us wisdom.  He gives us work to do and He plans our steps.  He numbers our days.  He can count the hairs on our head and the stars in the sky come out at his call at night.  He measured the foundation of the earth.  He loves and forgives us.  Through His son’s sacrifice, Jesus assures us that we will be with Him in the mansion he is building for us.  He sends the rain and the wind and the sunshine to create sustenance for us.Is it any wonder that I have joy?  Is it any wonder that my heart is yours?  Is it any wonder that I trust you?  Is it any wonder that I bow before you in thanksgiving and praise!  Everything I have is a gift from you.How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the Lord.
With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.
Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar,
O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God. Psalm 84:1-3!
