August 16, 2021 – Psalm 28:6-7
Blessed be the Lord! For He has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song, I give thanks to Him. Psalm 28:6-7.
Do we rest in the Lord in all the storms of life that surround us? How easy it is to try to do hard things in our own strength. This is not the way of trusting in the Lord.
Our Lord is our strength when we learn to rest and truly trust Him. Praising Him and thankfulness rises as a song, for He hears our cries for help in every situation that arises.
Dear Lord God, may I lean on Jesus for He gave His life to protect me from evil of the world. Your Son, Jesus, is my Shepherd and carries me in His Strength, not mine. He is my salvation for an eternity, I pray in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness. The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord, over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. Psalm 29:1-4.
May the Lord give strength to His people! May the Lord bless His people with peace! Psalm 29:11. For the Lord Himself is my Shepherd, I shall not want, when I trust in Him and rest in His Grace. Blessed be the Lord!
The Lord is the strength of His people; He is the saving refuge of His anointed. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever. Psalm 28:8-9.
