August 12, 2021 – Ephesians 4:4-6
There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:4-6.
The Oneness of God has already been created in the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit and extended to us. It is when love one another by our ‘being’ of humility, gentleness and patience in an atmosphere of love. This is preserving the Unity the Holy Spirit has created with Peace that binds us together.
How is this possible? This is only possible with Jesus who set the example when He came to earth to teach us and save us. We are to guard that unity by following His example.
Be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Ephesians 4:23-25.
Oh, Lord, help me grow in faith and goodness. May I put on love which binds everything together in perfect harmony. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Our Father, which art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, for you are over all, through all, and in all. Your kingdom come, your will be done!
I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is great to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds. Psalm 57:9-10.
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32.
