April 9, 2020 – Lamentations 3:22-24

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:22-24.

Love and caring are wrapped into the Mercy of God.  It’s God’s ability to renew His Love each day with every sunrise that brings me Hope to continue with Joy.  No matter how discouraged we become with life, God is there to comfort and guide us.  

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:14.  God is working, He never stops working.  The hymn, Though we cannot see, And we can’t quite understand
Remember God is still in control, He promised to see you thru somehow, And He’s working even now. 

God has a plan for each of us from the beginning of time. (Ephesians 1:4) Never run ahead of God and His plans. We are not in charge – Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?  Isaiah 40:12.

We wait upon the Lord, and He cares for us. They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.  Isaiah 40:31.

For you are great and do wondrous things;  You alone are God. Psalm 86:10. When we know this truth, we can ‘wait well‘!

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. Lamentations 3: 25-27.
