April 1, 2021 – 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;  that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.  2 Corinthians 5:18-20.

Jesus prayed, the night He would before He would be crucified. And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours, be done.”  Luke 22:41-42. Not my will, but Yours, be done.  Can we say this as we choose righteousness over evil?

Jesus had a purpose in life given to Him by His Father God. In Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will. Ephesians 1:11.

Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore, “Great is the Lord, who delights in the welfare of his servant!” Psalm 35:27.

O Father God, May I delight myself in the Lord, and for He will give me the desires of my heart. (Psalm 37:4). Help me to be an ambassador for Him by the way I choose to live for You. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever,  for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. Isaiah 26:3-4.

For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
