Stories
The Writing Bug bit me hard. One thing I love to do – see words jump on the page. As an elementary student, I wrote a description, and it was a success, according to the teacher. During the two years as an elementary music teacher, I wrote a program each semester – music, choreography (which I knew nothing about), and the lines. The students helped by providing melodies and ideas. After I retired, I began writing children’ stories and joined two writing groups. I learned the horror of others ripping my stories to shreds. I needed a tough writing skin. But I still wrote. When my daughter sent me a Legacy Bible, she challenged me to write a blog a week about family history and inspirational writing. I have included several stories tentatively.
