August 23, 2021 – Psalm 1:1-2

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law, he meditates day and night. Psalm 1:1-2.

Searching each day for the ways of righteousness brings everlasting delight.  Righteousness is not found in the things of the world, but in the message in His Word, of Loving One Another.   How can we describe Righteousness?  Through acts of patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

O, Lord, My God,  I praise you for peace and joy only You can provide. Your creation are signs pointing to your greatness and majesty. Thank you for the words King David penned to teach us who You are. I pray in the Name of Jesus Who brings us salvation. Amen.

Our season on this earth is brief,  help us to stand tall and bear fruit in all  we say and do.  I will give to the Lord the thanks due to His righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High. Psalm 7:17.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3.

For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. Psalm 86:10.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;  for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Psalm 1:3, 5-6.
