January 22, 2021 – I Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. I Thessalonians 5:16-18.
Oh, it must be impossible to rejoice, never stop praying or give thanks in all things. “And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:36-37.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9.
Oh, how reading His Word reminds us to look to the Stars and trust in Him. For God brought Love, Joy, and Peace to the world. When God is our focus — and not on ourselves, we rejoice and pray without ceasing. And we will thank God in all things.
Dear Father in Heaven, I praise you in all things. No one else but Jesus, is able to save us. May the Peace of God, surpassing all understanding, and guard our hearts and minds, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. For your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my guilt, for it is great. Psalm 25:9-11. For you, O Lord, have made me glad by Your work; at the works of Your hands I sing for joy. Psalm 92:4.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it. I Thessalonians 5:23-24.
