December 30, 2020 – John 14: 23-24

Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. Whoever does not love me, does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me. John 14:23-24.

The Words of Jesus are His teaching that creates a life of truth and life.  Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. John 5:24.

 Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me, I once was lost, But now I’m found, Was blind, but now I see! This old hymn has been sung through the ages by many people who have believed the words of Jesus, the Son of God.  

Father G0d, help my unbelief, and times when I falter.  The Peace Jesus gives when we turn to Him, fills our hearts and minds, gives us strength to face whatever is before us. This is my prayer, that I hold on to Your Peace in the New Year and beyond.  In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Faith in Jesus provides protection from every fear. “Fear Not!” He is coming soon!   “Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” Revelation 22:7b.

“These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace, I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” John 14:25-27.
