December 1, 2020 – Psalm 36:4-5

       Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. Psalm 37:3-5.

      Trust, do good, be faithful, Delight in the Lord.  Why? He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.  Psalm 37:6.  

      This chapter also gives us direction as what to do as we wait on the Lord.  To love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, and soul, we Commit our Way to live according to His Commands to seek righteousness in every part of our lives.

           Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:14. While. we wait, we do good, we trust, we are faithful in what we think, the words we say, and how we love one another. Most of all, we serve God.  

We cannot buy salvation, we cannot be saved from wickedness unless we turn to Him who created us.  Dear Father in Heaven, help me daily to delight in your goodness and follow your Way each day. We know You will delivers us from evil when we choose to be faithful.  In the precious name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

        The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their stronghold in the time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them because they take refuge in Him. Psalm 37:39-40.
