October 23, 2020 – Hebrews 8:8-9

For He finds fault with them when He says: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not continue in my covenant, and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord. Hebrews 8:8-9.

And He who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also He said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true. Revelations 21:5.

Our Lord God’s purpose is our redemption. To make us new from our hearts out, by continuing in His covenant and knowing our Lord. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! Psalm 51:3.

O, Lord, “every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”(Romans 14:11b). Help me know you, Lord! Forgive me and hold me close, I pray in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you. James 4:10. 

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.  Matthew 5:6-9.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. Hebrews 8:10-11.
