October 9, 2020 – Psalm 68:3-4
But the righteous shall be glad; they shall exult before God; they shall be jubilant with joy! Sing to God, sing praises to His name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; His name is the Lord; exult before Him! Psalm 68:3-4.
Why are the righteous glad? How can they know such such Joy? How can they sing songs of praise to the the Lord? They are filled with Hope Eternal. Their lives are lived in the Presence of the Holy One.
There is no other God before them. Their trust is in the Lord God whose Power and Glory reaches to the Heavens. In no Other will we find power and strength when we proclaim Him by all that we do or say.
Dear Father of all who proclaim your Name, we praise You for hearing our prayers and knowing our hearts. We pray you heal our cities and guide us in obeying all You ask. Help us to truly be your children. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. Psalm 95:1-3.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness. The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord, over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. Psalm 29:2-4.
Ascribe power to God, whose majesty is over Israel, and whose power is in the skies. Awesome is God from his sanctuary; the God of Israel—He is the one who gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God! Psalm 68:34-35.
