December 12, 2016 – Revelation 3:10-11

Because you kept my command to endure, I will keep you safe through the time of testing that is about to come over the whole world, to test those who live on earth. I’m coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one takes your crown. Revelation 3:10:11Do you study the textbook – Endurance 101, his Word?  Testing over the whole world is here now. Jesus is coming soon.  “Hold On!”  Hold tightly to your crown, it is your symbol of living for and with Jesus for an eternity.Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks. Can you hear Him?  His voice is a whisper in the clamor of today’s technology sending and hearing voices that are not His.  So many words spoken – and His Voice is the only voice that has an invitation to Eternity.Will you hear Him and open the door?  Is there room in your heart for Jesus? He wants to come in and have dinner with you and with me.  Is He welcome as you are, or will you have to ask Jesus to wait until you find your crown and the textbook – Endurance 101?What happens when we invite Jesus in?  It begins a relationship that cannot be measured. When I go to prepare a place for you, I will return and take you to be with me so that where I am you will be too.  John 14:3.  Will you pass the test of the Master Teacher? Does your heart belong to Him only?  (As I read the words I wrote, I realize I am writing them to myself as well!)Look! I’m standing at the door and knocking. If any hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to be with them, and will have dinner with them, and they will have dinner with me. Revelation 3:20
