October 19, 2016 – Galatians 2:20

galatians2-20My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20Life or death!  We choose.  When we accept the Grace of God, Jesus, we choose life.  A life that is lived no longer in our will but in His.  For choosing Christ, He lives in me.  How can this be?  By believing and trusting in Jesus, the only Son of God. Why would I do this? Not because Mom said so, but because I know beyond a doubt that God loves me.  He loves me over and over.  He loved me and chose the spirit of me before he created the world.  He loved me when He sent Jesus Christ to earth to give His life for me on the cross.  He raised Jesus from the dead to overcome the tyranny of death so I will not fear.  He sent the Holy Spirit to live in my heart to teach and guide me.  He answers my prayers.  He walks with me in the valleys of sorrow and on high mountains of unnumbered blessings as I delight in Him.Keeping the laws of God is difficult for all men.  Yet following this Jesus, who is the Life, the Way and the Truth and lives pure Love, has given me Hope and Joy. How can I do any less than love Him with praise and adoration continually as long as I have breath?  In the Grace of God, I am rich beyond measure.

I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21
