Give God Time to Work!

      Leaving
room for God to work in our lives provides a calm and confidence in a world
majoring in chaos and division.
     Now
all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish
infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and
in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
Ephesians
3:20-21. Our Lord God delights in the impossible. He is the WOW Factor
in our lives.
   When
our life becomes more difficult than we could ever imagine, all we can do is
trust God and wait for Him to do the impossible.  He never disappoints.

We will respond with the same words the disciples spoke when Jesus calmed the
sea. “Who, then is this, that He commands even the wind and the water, and
they obey Him?”
  Luke 8:25.

It is our response each day to The One who created us that shows our depth of
belief and trust in Him.  In Exodus 14, God led the Children of
Israel to a point of return. There was seemingly no escape.  They faced
the fury of the Egyptian charioteers on one side and the Red Sea on the other
side with no way out.  Why did God allow this dilemma?  This isn’t
just a story, it taught us to seek God first and trust in Him! Then God made a
Way!

When we walk with our Lord, there are moments of awe and delight.  Our
faith soars, and we praise Him.  We seek Him, and we listen in silence and
know His Presence. He speaks to us, and we understand the delight of surrender to
His Presence.

Fear not!  We often tell each other, God’s got his!  And then we
forget.  We take the situation from God. In a moment we have forgotten,
God is our Lord. 2 Chronicles 20:16 – He said, “Listen, all you people of
Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what
the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty
army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s
.”

How much does God, our Father, love us? How much can we trust Him?  The
Israelites let their fear override their trust because of their dilemma
But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand
still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today
will never be seen again.  The Lord Himself will fight for you.
Just stay calm.”

What
is the reality in this life?  It is God and His Truth.  Man’s reality
is lacking in every way without the understanding of God’s Love for each of us.
God is all and over all things in Heaven and Earth. Without Him, we are nothing.
 By faith we
understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we
now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
Hebrews 11:3.

Moses knew the Lord and knew God is
trustworthy. When trusting God in every decision and every step of our life, we
will understand Psalm 37:3-4,7-8.
Trust
in the Lord and do good.
Then you will live
safely in the land and prosper.
Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s
desires
Be still in the
presence of the Lord and wait
patiently for Him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper
or fret about their wicked schemes.  Stop being angry! Turn
from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm.
God
is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble.
So we will not fear when earthquakes come
and the mountains crumble into the
sea. Let the oceans roar and foam.
Let the mountains tremble as the
waters surge!
Psalm 46:1-3.
What
shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can
ever be against us? No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed,
nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God
that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  Romans 8:31, 39.
“So be strong and courageous! Do not
be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord, your God
will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.

Deuteronomy 31:6.
         For
I am waiting for you, O
Lord.
 You must
answer for me, O Lord my God.
Psalm 38:15.
         We put our hope
in the
Lord. He is our help and our shield.  In Him our
hearts rejoice,
for we trust in His holy name.  Let your
unfailing love surround us,
Lord, for our
hope is in You alone.
Psalm 33:20-22.
We know that God loves us, cares for
us, protects us, and furthermore He has plans for us for an eternity.  There is no other way for deliverance, but
God’s Way.  “Don’t
let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
  There is more than
enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told
you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I
will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.
  And you
know the way to where I am going.”
John 14:1-4.
When we trust God, our destination is described
in Revelation 21:1-5:
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old
heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.
 And I saw the
holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride
beautifully dressed for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne,
saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and
they will be his people. God himself will be with them.  He will wipe
every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying
or pain. All these things are gone forever.” And the one sitting on the throne
said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this
down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”
