September 7, 2020 – Psalm 130:2, 4-5
O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! But with you, there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits and in His Word, I hope. Psalm 130:2, 4-5.
Blessed are those who love the Lord our God with their whole hearts, and with all their souls and with all their minds for they can call on Him.
Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and His ears toward their cry. Psalm 34:14-15.
We wait, expecting your Answer, for your love is steadfast. We hope and wait for your eternal redemption from the evil of this world. Why wait unless we have God’s Love?
Almighty God, we wait for you in hope, rejoicing in your Words and Deeds that reveal your Love for us. Give us the strength and the desire to love You with all our hearts, our souls, and our minds. Turn my heart ever to you and teach me Your Goodness, O Lord, my Redeemer. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3. These words of King David, a man after your own heart, is my song. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him. Psalm 28:7.
My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord, there is steadfast love, and with Him is plentiful redemption. Psalm 130:6-7.
